Project Description

Staff at Insight Planning & Development have provided municipal planning services for the Town of Pembroke since 2003. Insight staff was responsible for the preparation of a Comprehensive Plan for the Town in 2005 which provided a foundation for future growth and development in the community. The future land use map was subsequently amended in 2015 to reflect changes in zoning and growth within the 10-year period.

 

In 2009, Insight staff worked with the Town to consolidate all its land development regulations into a single Unified Development Ordinance. Insight continues to work with the Town to provide support in the application of the UDO, including the preparation of zoning map and UDO text amendment staff reports, attendance at Planning Board and Town Council meetings, maintenance of the Town’s Official Zoning Map, review of site plans and subdivision plats, preparation of special use permit staff reports, and preparation of public hearing notices among other services as requested by the Town.
