Insight Planning and Development staff has prepared applications for and administered Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) programs since the program was created in the 1970’s.  Much of our Community Development staff have over 25 years experience administering a variety of CDBG programs.  We have also provided technical assistance to entitlement communities for service delivery of CDBG programs.

Insight utilizes a Contractor’s Handbook reference manual (created by us) for rehabilitation/reconstruction projects that guides the contractor to build at our standards, and we utilize a variety of forms in each project to assure a consistent, quality product meeting all CDBG program guidelines.

The Insight staff includes a 20-year experienced Construction Manager (Rehabilitation Specialist) as well as a 30-year experienced Environmental Compliance Specialist.  Our team also includes very knowledgeable and experienced professionals in regards to Fair Housing, Acquisition, Infrastructure, Relocation, and many other CDBG elements.
